Not Me.

On Friday I saw Fantastic Mr. Fox! A few weeks back I went to Borders and broke the binding of the book to read it over a raspberry latte, and I enjoyed both experiences a bunch! The movements were by far the funniest part of the movie, and funniest part of any animation I have seen recently!



The Derby Dolls sold out before we could buy our tickets, so on Saturday we saw They Might Be Giants instead! They performed the entirety of Flood including other hits and a few hand puppets, and it was the best TMBG show I've seen yet! I'm so glad they didn't play one song from "Here Come the ABCs," and that there was star-shaped confetti thrown into the crowd!

I've really rejected their new Science album, but a few weeks ago I was looking up the additional videos from it and must point out that "The Elements" video (and song) is fantastic:



That's it! That's all I've done. I watched Brother From Another Planet on Sunday, but it did not do anything for me. I've been on the edge of sick or depressed, and have continued to have interviews leave me without a job, and cartoon projects that leave me with little progress.

Mandy just told me about a money-making scheme involving toy hamsters. I've seen cartoons discouraging this type of behavior, but I'm in.
